- I have worked
on the design and construction of a
16-bit
CPU using the
Logisim software. The CPU was made up of various components such as the control
unit,
ALU, ROM, and RAM, and was designed to be able to execute a variety of instructions.
- One of the key challenges of this project was to
ensure
that the various components of
the CPU were properly integrated and that the overall system was able to function as
intended. I was able to overcome this challenge through careful planning and design,
as
well as extensive testing and debugging.
- One of the highlights of this project was being able
to
see the CPU come to life and
execute instructions as intended. It was a great feeling of accomplishment to have
built
a working computer processor from scratch, and it was a valuable learning experience
that allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of computer architecture and how
computers work at a fundamental level.
